Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev claimed his maiden championship for over two years with success over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult season, winning just one win at the major tournaments and undergoing a difficult moment at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in particular - resulted in him falling of the world's top 10 and ultimately parting ways with former mentor his previous coach.
Now training with his coach and Goetzke, he has gradually advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a hard-fought competitive victory over opponent Moutet.
This marks the player's initial championship following the Italian tournament and first on a hard surface since that period of 2023.
Victory also signifies Medvedev has won 21 titles at 21 different events.
"It's the first time I'm at a tournament with my children simultaneously, so to win a title is really nice," commented ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my child Victoria, because the first title I achieved when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had failed in his past six finals, including in Halle earlier this year.
The player's retrieving strategy and recurring outbursts on the tennis court had led commentators to question if his ability to compete at the highest level was concluded.
However the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, making an effort to come to the net and perform positively, reinforced by an improved service.
The champion fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult Moutet, winning four of the final five games to take the lead.
The competitors traded service breaks in the second set before the challenger, bidding for his maiden ATP Tour championship, gained dominance to create a final set.
The opponent defended four early opportunities in a tight deciding set before the Russian won the break to 15 to secure the win.
Fittingly, he clinched the win with a rally at the net area, with his opponent unable to handle a shot after over two and a half hours.
