British Airways will offer complimentary high-speed onboard wifi through Starlink partnership
Travelers aboard the airline can soon access fast connectivity in the air at no cost following a new agreement from SpaceX's space firm.
Complimentary and Fast Wifi Across the Board
The airline revealed that the complimentary, “fast and dependable” internet offering via SpaceX is set to be accessible for passengers in coach, premium economy, or premium cabins from soon.
Widespread Implementation Across Various Airlines
The holding firm of the airline, IAG, announced it had secured an deal with SpaceX to provide connectivity access for 500-plus planes within their carriers, which also include Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.
Seamless Wifi from Boarding to Arrival
The airline noted that the rollout of this service was part of a £7bn “upgrade” initiative that will deliver lag-free connectivity access to travelers starting at the gate to landing, even when in flight across large bodies of water or remote regions.

Existing Connectivity Options
